The high level of scientific training, specialization, and many years of experience of our scientific staff are a guarantee for the correct diagnosis and rapid processing of histological and other tests carried out in our laboratory and constitute the basic principles of our operation.

Istomedica Anatomic Pathology Laboratory performs all diagnostic tests using the most modern equipment and with a focus on quality, speed, and the best service to patients for a timely and valid diagnosis.

Moreover, the price policy followed is based on values, ideals, and philosophy, which are the principles of Medical Science. It focuses on good cooperation with partner Doctors, Hospitals and Clinics, as well as on providing all patients with the opportunity to have access to high quality Medical Services, at a fast pace and low financial cost.

Istomedica Anatomic Pathology Laboratory is certified to the highest quality standard, ISO 15189, and has achieved accreditation of its services by the National Accreditation System (Certificate Number 1098). In addition, all accredited tests are subjected annually to systematic inter-laboratory audits by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This process ensures the high level of service provided regarding the results quality assurance.

Our Advanced Equiment

Our state-of-the-art equipment with their full automation, ensure excellent results of the applied techniques, in fast and unprecedented times, while the computerization of the center allows the implementation of innovative services.
The equipment and the reagents used are compatible with the requirements and restrictions set by the Greek legislation and the European Union.
The facilities and the "closed" type state-of-the-art machinery protect the health of the employees, resulting in a pleasant and clean environment.

In addition, ISTOMEDICA has a meticulously documented equipment maintenance program, which follows the recommendations of the equipment manufacturers. The use of the equipment is entrusted exclusively to authorised personnel of the laboratory. The equipment is used in accordance with the respective equipment manufacturers' user manuals.

Each device - instrument is assigned a unique identification number and marked with it. In addition, a record is kept for each device - instrument with data on errors, repairs, maintenance, checks and calibrations, where required. Checked/calibrated equipment is marked with a label indicating the check/calibration status of the equipment and the relevant date.
